Musculoskeletal Laboratory, and is affiliated with the University of Utah Health Sciences Center, a large regional tertiary care facility. In addition, the Rehabilitation and Wellness Clinic and a Balance and Falls Prevention Clinic are situated within the Department. The Department also has ties with the Intermountain Unit of the Shriners Hospital for Children and the Veterans Administration Medical Center.

Students are also required to complete 1200 hours of clinical training in the final years of the program. A majority of these hours are completed at the Southwest Naturopathic Medical Center in Scottsdale. However, a portion of the hours must be completed outside of the Naturopathic Medical Center with affiliated MDs and NDs throughout the greater metropolitan Phoenix area. This training provides students with an integrative approach to medicine while encompassing natural therapy

philosophies and emphasizing the practical information necessary to establish a successful practice.
