THE VISION

The goal of all the ISS After School Sports and Activities Program is to provide and coordinate a variety of NON-COMPETITIVE activities for our member to further develop physical, social and interpersonal abilities meant to enhance the ISS experience, promote our School’s identity and help prepare our members for future challenges.

The Mission of the After School Activities Program is to provide quality training in a variety of well-structured activities to further the development of a healthy mind, body and attitude as well as further practice and development of specific skills needed to be successful in hobbies and activities of interest.

Students learning at ISS Sindelfingen doesn’t stop at 15:30. Our After School Activities Program (ASAP) is a designed to offer students at all levels of the school the opportunity to try out a variety of activities. The ASAP is designed for ISS Sindelfingen students to practice in a recreational way.

The ASAP is divided into two terms with 18 weeks per semester approx.

FIRST TERM:

9th of Sep. 2013 – 31st of Jan. 2014

SECOND TERM: 10th of Feb. – 20th of June 2014

Term 2: February 3rd – 7th 2013

side! We will make a variety of goodies!

skill levels accepted. We will train, practice, play

soccer games together… and have fun!

24 Game

:

is a card game in which the object

is to find the way to arrange four numbers so

that the result is 24. Addition, subtraction,

multiplication or division. Competition: April

2014 Hannover

Gr: 4-5

Maths Quest:

is a logical problem solving

competition. Students will prepare by doing

practice problems and developing strategies.

Competition: April 3-6 2014 Berlin

Gr: 5-6

who are under 12 as of March 2014.

Rubik’s Club: is a 3-D puzzle invented

in 1974. Students will learn the secrets

of the cube and how to solve it. More

Lapine  on  Thursday!  We’ll  practice  Vinyasa  flows  and  learG  the  basics  about  

breathing,  tIists,  balance  poses  and  maybe  even  tKL  some  basic  meditation  and  

headstands!  Be  prepared  to  open  yourself  to  new  ways  of  exOeriencing  the  world  as  

we  develop  our  yoga  practice  over  the  course  of  the  semester
