1. INTRODUCTION.
There is a largeliterature on nonlinearsingularintegralequationswith Hiibertand Cauchy kernel and on related nonlinear Riemann-Hilbert problems for analytic functions, cf. themonograph by Pogorzelski[9]and the otherbyGuseinovA. I.and Mukhtarov Kh. Sh.
[5].
As it is well known, linearsingular integral equations of Cauchy type have important applications in hydrodynamics and in thetheoryofelasticity. Alsononlinearsingular integral equationsofCauchy type and related nonlinear Riemann-Hilbert problems are encountered in various problems of continuum mechanics. Many important boundary valueproblemsfor partialdifferentialequationsof elliptic type can be transformed into thegeneralizedRiemann-Hilbert-Poincareproblem,cf.Vekua
[11]
andMikhlin etal. [6].Now, Consider asimple closedsmoothJordancurve?withequationt--t(s),0<_ s_</’, where s-arc coordinate accounts from fixed point and-lengthofthecurve. Dentoe by D+andD"theinteriorand
