Complete starter package for time and attendance with
CHIPDRIVE® Time Recording. The package contains the
software for administration and analysis of the employee data as
well as the extension of the PC Time Clock software. The new version 7.5 of our time registration software offers many new features. Some of the new features is SSL encryption during data exchange via e-mail and support for other contactless 3rd party smart cards. Further down you will find a complete overview of the new features.
The time registration software from CHIPDRIVE® Time Recording consists of
three components:
CHIPDRIVE® Time Recording is the main component of the software package. It is used for administration and
analysis of the employees working time. The software allows you to add new employees, define the basic working hours, administer projects and breaks, vacation, overtime, absence from work due to illness and much more. All data will be gathered wihtin this core software. You can then use the data for extended analysis, reports and also export the data to a Microsoft Excel sheet. By doing so you are always informed about the employees working hours, absence and you can use it to plan your resources in an efficient manner.
The CHIPDRIVE® PC Time Clock module allows employees to clock
in and out directly at their workplace simply using the smart card and a smart card reader, even when they are working from home. The recorded working hours will then be transferred to CHIPDRIVE® PC Time Clock Server either via the local TCP/IP network (HTTP) or
optionally via E-Mail (POP3 / SMTP).

New Features
Support of the CHIPDRIVE® Terminal flexible (CDO950)
As before you can include as many CHIPDRIVE® Time Recording Touch&Go (CDO920DI) time clocking
devices in your installation as you want. In addition to that you can add up to 10 CHIPDRIVE® Time Recording Fingerprint (C2) w. CHIPDRIVE® Time Recording Fingerprint/RFID (C2/RFID) and up to 10 CHIPDRIVE® Time Recording flexible (CDO950) per CHIPDRIVE® Time Recording installation.
Email delivery of PDF reports
Various reports (brief overview, full report, rate, vacation overview) can be sent in PDF format via email.
Support for further contactless 3rd party smart cards

Support of the CHPDRIVE® Time Recording License Card
The CHPDRIVE® Time Recording License Card allows you to clock in and out simply by using your employees fingerprint. In addition to that you can now use smart cards and tokens from other vendors. Supported chip types are: Mifare® Standard 1K and 4K , Mifare® Ultralight, Mifare® Ultralight C, Mifare® Desfire EV1, Mifare® Plus X, NTAG 203, NTAG 213 F, NTAG 217 F, my-d NFC SLE66R32P, LEGIC® advant ATC2048-MP110, LEGIC® advant ATC4096-MP310.
Support of the Identiv ConCERTO LOGON Card
Identiv ConCERTO LOGON Cards will work with this version without any need for additional licenses.
Mulitseat capability inside your network
The CHIPDRIVE® PC Time Clock allows you to access all employee data simultaneously from different
computers. The CHIPDRIVE® PC Time Clock is license free and can be installed within your network as many
times as you want. A group policy system enables you to control who is allowed to have access to the different data.
Reading the data out of the driver card using the CHIPDRIVE® Terminal flexible CDO950 DI and the CHIPDRIVE® PC Time Clock
Driver cards from truck and bus drivers can be read out using the CHIPDRIVE® Terminal flexible CDO950. The data is then available for analysis for the CHIPDRIVE® Driver Card Solution (can be purchased separately).
Integrated remote support
The Team Viewer module is integrated in all CHIPDRIVE® Time Recording software components and can be started directly in the menu. This allows remote access through the technical support from Identive or your internal IT team for easy and quick support on questions or problems.
CHIPDRIVE® Time Recording
Vacation, illness and additional free days off on an hourly basis
Vacation, illness and "additional free time" can now be set by the hour. In addition a combination of vacation and "additional free time" can be set by the hour. The statistic on vacation and remaining free time can be shown with digits after the decimal point.
Negative vacation days can be entered
Now you can enter more vacation days as actually available (advancement on vacation days).
Extended possibilities for entering flexible work time
Flexible work time for general days off can be entered in various ways for single persons or groups.
Direct switching between vacation schedule and shift working schedule
Now you can switch directly between the vacation schedule and shift working schedule whilst keeping the group selection and the selected entry.
Tracking of manually changed data
If somebody changes data like clocking in or clocking out times you can track this now. There will be a track on manual changes without any gap including date, time and name of the person who changed the data. In addition to that you can roll back those changes.
Multiple selection of bookings to be deleted
In the list of bookings you can mark several bookings for deletion, which simplifies the process when you want to delete many bookings at once.
Swap „clocking in“ and „clocking out“
It may happen that somebody forgets to clock in in the morning. In this case you can either swap the first "wrong" booking or you can do it for several days if needed.
Deactivation of warning and tip messages
Many of the messages can be switched off now and if desired be switched on again.
Regional holidays
In addition to the standard public holidays you can now define regional holidays and you can assign them to selected employees only.
Rounding of booking times for individuals
Next to the global settings for the rounding of booking times you can now set special rounding rules for individuals. The special rules can then be inherited to other employees.
New options for rounding of breaks
Automatically and manually stamped breaks can be excluded from the rounding rules.

Manually stamped breaks can be excluded from the rounding rules.
Rounding of the daily work time regarding the core working time by using flexible rules.
Templates for the export of data to Microsoft Excel
Automatic system backup
As before can you always do a manual backup of your data. In this new version however there will be weekly automatic backups of your data. This data will be kept 90 days and then deleted automatically. This significantly increases the security of your data and will not lead to problems in case of a computer or hard disk crash.
Monitoring of the status of the Time Recording Terminals
You can now easily check the status of all Time Recording Terminals and of the PC Time Clock. You will se at a glance if they are online or if there is a problem.
Rate/time bonuses (or deductions)
You can enter a percentage for rate/time bonuses (or deductions) e.g. for work performed on night shift, Sundays and public holidays.

CHIPDRIVE® PC Timeclock
New graphical user interface
The graphical user interface of the CHIPDRIVE® PC Timeclock has been reworked and comes in a completely
new and animated look. You can also choose between the available user interfaces and select your preferred one.
Definition of group policies
You can give individual rights and administrative possibilities to different groups in addition to the basic
functionalities available to all employees (basic functionalities are e.g. clocking in and clocking out, see vacation schedule or remaining vacation days, select project or task). Using these group policies you can define freely what certain employees should be allowed to do in addition such as:
• Add bookings retroactively • Administer the own booking data
• Administer the booking data from group members or all employees • Current overview
• Vacation schedule for groups or all employees
• Shift work schedule for groups or all employees • Add new projects or modify existing projects
CHIPDRIVE® PC Time Clock Server
Central server for connecting different facilities
You can connect CHIPDRIVE® Time Recording Terminals and installations of the CHIPDRIVE® PC Time Clock in different locations with separated
networks easily via an automatic E-Mail data exchange service. The CHIPDRIVE® PC Timeclock Server
makes sure that all data is synchronized with your central CHIPDRIVE® Time Recording software
installation.
Support of dynamic DNS services (DDNS)
Optionally you can connect different installation using a DDNS service instead of using the E-Mail synchronization mechanism. The advantage is that the data is always up to date in real time.
Optimized administration
The former administrative tool CHIPDRIVE® PC Time Clock Admin Tool is now integrated into the CHIPDRIVE® PC Time Clock Server module, which simplifies any administrative task.
