Vet examination of DON’T TELL LINDY [5] revealed no apparent injury.
Stewards interviewed the trainer of DR. GRAYSON [7] regarding the action at the home turn and in the home straight. After hearing the trainer’s submission and viewing the race replay with it was evident that DR. GRAYSON [7] made muzzle contact at the home turn and in the home straight. Stewards issued DR. GRAYSON [7] with a marring endorsement R69 as this is DR. GRAYSON [7] first offence DR. GRAYSON [7] is now suspended from Wagga Wagga for 28 days and at all tracks until the completion of a satisfactory trial R72. INJURIES AND

Stewards considered the vet report of a minor injury and notwithstanding the injury stewards issued PAUA OF JEWELS [3] with an endorsement for failing to pursue R69A for PAUA OF JEWELS [3] action at the home turn and in the home straight. Stewards interviewed the trainer of FREDDY ON WATER [8] regarding the action approaching the home turn. Stewards viewed the vet report, listened to the trainers submission and viewed the race replay. Stewards considered the vet report of a minor injury and notwithstanding the injury stewards issued FREDDY ON WATER [8] with an endorsement for failing to pursue R69A for FREDDY ON WATER [8] action approaching the home turn. Stewards interviewed the handler of DODGE THE HEAT [4] in relation the action at the boxes where DODGE THE HEAT [4] was difficult to place in the boxes. The handler advised stewards that they were not the normal handler of the greyhound and will not be handling the greyhound again. Stewards took no further action and noted the handler’s feedback.
