CATÓLICA-LISBON research was created in 1997 in order to pool the efforts

of faculty engaged in scholarly research. Its 51 full members are very well trained

in academic research and active in publishing in the top refereed journals.

Since its creation, the research unit was evaluated three times by an External FCT

(Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology) Panel and obtained always

the highest classification "EXCELLENT".

excellent publications, with a quite dispersed authorship.

The publication records are very high on international standards,
