Logistics is an inevitable part of modern life and one of the most promising sunrise industries. If you think that logistics is just about delivering goods, you are missing out on a lot more. Logistics professionals of tomorrow are able to identify current trends, to develop clever ideas, to find innovative solutions and to use the latest technology in order to realize their visions in an economical, timesaving and ecofriendly way. They can think outside the box and are used to cooperate with experts from different disciplines on a global scale.
We aim to provide you with a skill-set that is essential for future business and success including the knowledge needed to design and optimise production processes, international supply chains or traffic flows. We will also introduce you to innovations regarding private households such as the develop- ment and implementation of cutting-edge assistance systems which help to retain personal mobility into advanced age.
You will not only gain specialist knowledge of the latest logistic innovations and problem solving methods but also develop a sound understanding of strategic logistic planning processes.
Additionally you will be enabled to design innovative private mobility concepts and to equip them with the technical systems needed. Together with the technical English language skills you will gain throughout the course this will be an excellent preparation for you to embark on an international career.
Work-related learning is a crucial part of our programme and you will find a lot of opportunities such as work placements, model factories and simulations to put your knowledge into practice. Our interdisciplinary approach also gives you the
chance to work collaboratively with students from other disciplines like International Business or Environment and Energy in developing your own research project which will demonstrate your individual strengths and help you stand out from the crowd.
What you will study
Your first semesters will introduce you to logistic systems as well as to planning and applied problem solving methods. You will be provided with a firm grounding in business administ- ration, gain specialist knowledge in technical fields such as information technology and electrical engineering and learn about identification systems and automation. This knowledge will be the key to dealing with the latest technologies used in mobility and logistics and to being successful on a global scale.
The 4th and 5th semesters will than give you the chance to broaden your professional horizon by studying electives in the fields of logistics, engineering or economics according to your interest and career plans. You will also have the oppor- tunity to work independently on a research or development project.
The 6th semester focuses on the practical application of your knowledge and will give you the chance to either do a work placement or study abroad. This will be another valuable experience and a great boost to your CV.
In the 7th semester you will finish your studies submitting your bachelor's thesis, followed by a presentation and open discussion.

As one of the leading and fastest growing economic sectors worldwide, mobility and logistics offers a wide range of careers. By the time you graduate you will be highly qualified to work in the management of logistics and will also have the knowledge and ability to respond to new challenges in the field of public and private mobility. You can expect to work in business areas like planning, implementation or econo- mic operation and optimisation of current or future logistic processes and mobility concepts. Our graduates are highly sought after mobility and logistics managers. They gain employment as planners, consultants, innovators or optimi- sers and may be responsible for distribution, purchasing or process and product development.

Specific requirements for this bachelor's degree programme:
• Good knowledge of English (at least B2 level according to the Common European Framework (CEF) or equivalent).
• Interest in technical, economical and organisational prob- lems.
