than that. Jaydon told him to come back a few days later so he can build him the perfect Kingstonmobile. When Kingston went back, there it was - big, blue, with a huge acceleration! Jayden built a Kingstonmobile that went from 0-100 miles per hour in just 2 seconds!

Acceleration is how fast something speeds up. When the car goes from 0-100 miles per hour in a shorter

Mass: The amount of tiny invisible pieces that make up things. Mass is the amount of “stuff” in an object. The empty surfboard has less mass than a surfboard with a person on it.

owned the surfboard was on the sand and his board got to the shore much quicker than Taidus.

(19)
(20)

Newton’s 2nd Law explains, if the same force acts on a small mass and a big mass, the small mass will accelerate more. Since the empty surfboard has a small mass compared to a surfboard with Tadius on it, the empty surfboard accelerates much faster.

going to shore fast that that meant he didn’t have to paddle himself. He wanted to just let the waves bring him in.

(21)
(22)

Newton’s 3rd law says, for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. When Tadius pushes backwards on the water with his hand, the water pushes forward on his hand moving him towards the shore.

paddle with his hands to speed up the process. Everyone yelled out, “Paddled harder! Paddle harder!”

(23)
(24)

Newton’s first law explains, when an object is moving, it will move in a straight line at a constant speed unless it is pushed or pulled. A still object stays still until pushed or pulled. The surfboard with Tadius on it was moving really fast. The surfboard stopped when the force of the sand pushed on it but no force acted on Tadius so he kept moving forward in a straight line until the sand stopped him.

flying of his surfboard. He ended up hitting a bucket of crabs and went face first in the sand!

(28)

Newton’s second law says, if you put a big force and a little force on the same size mass, the big force accelerates more. When Kingston pushes it with a little force, the tsunami accelerates a little. When he pushes with a BIG force, it accelerates a lot!

gave it one last big force and it finally went back at a greater amount!

rest of the school year!!

This is me and my best friend Elisa and her cousin Lily. This year for Halloween we decided to be Batman and Robin. I was Batman and she was Robin.

P.S I love the beach and someday I want to be able to go to Hawaii for vacation!
