Training with AFRA

AFRA has a set of adopted principles in relation to training Vision

To establish the Australian Furniture Removers Association (AFRA) as the peak industry body and to provide specific removalist training skills.

Mission

To provide quality training at a national level which is underpinned by WHS regulations, so as to effectively benefit its members and their customers.

Training Values

AFRA believes in professional development through training as an attitude for success and improvement within the industry.

AFRA already has a prominent reputation in the training sphere, which includes –

A comprehensive National Training Policy.

A national partnership with RTO’s who are AFRA Preferred Training Providers.

AFRA Training DVD’s – endorsed by the Department of Employment, Education and Workplace Relations and WorkCover NSW

AFRA employs its own experienced trainers.

ASIC’s acceptance of AFRA’s proposal as the only accreditor of training for the furniture removals industry in relation to the sale of insurance under the Financial Services Reform Act.

The key challenge to AFRA was how to deliver training, so that competent training and assessment would be available to all members irrespective of where they are located in Australia. This has been achieved through online training programs.

Training courses available are;

Financial Services Reform Act (FSRA) – Insurance Training Course (Members Only):
