The Everlink Smart ATM solution provides Everlink financial institution clients with the ability to maximize the efficiencies and effectiveness of their ATM fleets through advancements in customer personalization, targeted one-to-one marketing and general advertising while proactively managing their ATM hardware and software. Smart ATM accomplishes this in a dynamic and consistent manner by utilizing the same EMV Kernel and software across multiple makes and models of ATMs.

The day-to-day costs of image development, delivery, updates, patches as well as ongoing support initiatives, service calls and maintenance represent the largest portion of total cost of ownership. ATM Asset Management
will track and inventory everything that is in the
ATM: manage Windows updates, Virus software
updates and vendor patches as well as core
application upgrades via remote software
distribution. This will reduce deployment errors,
maintain version controls and ensure that the most
up to date software is on the ATM and ensure
that it remains installed. In addition, Asset
Management includes security controls and
hardening of the ATM as well as PIC DSS
compliance management, including the EPPs.
ATM Marketing and Campaign
Management (Optional)
allows Everlink clients to easily deliver marketing
and branding changes as well as use their
demographic and account information to present
offers that are relevant to specific customer
interests and needs.
ATM Deposit Automation
(Future Component)
is supported by Smart ATM software for the
separation and processing of cash and cheques
without envelopes. Please note that CPA
requirements need to be finalized before full
envelope free deposits can be implemented. ATM
hardware may also require modification.

ATM Driving
allows Everlink client ATMs to be connected to
the Everlink service environment and to process
transactions originating at that ATM.
ATM Monitoring
is an automated 24/7 system that notifies a
financial institution’s predefined contact or service
vendor when an ATM experiences a fault such as a
paper jam, out of cash situation, or system problem.
ATM Incident Management
employs a “diagnose before dispatch” service
model that allows Everlink to receive the entire
range of possible status messages directly from
their ATMs.
When a status message is received, Everlink
opens a trouble ticket which stays open until the
ATM in question is back in service. Everlink then
attempts to remotely diagnose the ATM or can
remotely reset the ATM in order to bring it back into
service. In addition, it provides trouble ticket
managing, fault reporting, remote diagnosis,
reset or repair (all of which can result in a
10-15% reduction in service calls).
ATM Service Management
is
the overall management of first and second line
maintenance vendors and includes automatic
dispatch and managing vendors against the
client’s contract and reporting on how the vendor is
performing against client Service Level Agreements.
Smart ATM offers an extensive list of new functionality to ensure that the investments made by financial institutions in their ATM fleet are fully maximized. Smart ATM also impacts and enhances several services currently provided by Everlink and integrates a “bundle” of new, pre-existing and enhanced services.
Smart ATM provides maximum ease-of-use and flexibility for providing the appropriate content to the ideal target audience. Financial institutions can elect to present consistent screens and messages to all users of an ATM or alternatively, ATM images and messages can be customized by location (e.g. specific ATMs or geographic groupings) by segmentation, or by a combination of these factors. Additionally, Smart ATM can provide new capabilities in the areas of customer personalization by empowering cardholders to customize their user experience. Examples include receipt options, personalized “fast cash” and pre-set language preferences.
Smart ATM controls access to all marketing and campaign management aspects from a centralized Marketing / Campaign Manager tool providing financial institutions with the ability to create and deliver targeted, dynamic marketing campaigns at the ATM such as One-to-One marketing (including the
capability to cross-sell products and services to specific cardholders). Additionally, marketing departments can offer up-to-date information on rates, announce loan offerings and other services, conduct consumer surveys, and request responses directly from the ATM user.

The Everlink Smart ATM solution allows financial institutions to easily drive general marketing programs, advertising and enhanced branding messages through their ATM’s. Everlink clients can either support these efforts through their existing marketing departments, or utilize Everlink experience to assist in getting the most marketing capability from each ATM.
Smaller financial institutions can now directly compete with the big five Canadian banks. Utilize enhanced cross-sell and up-sell propositions (campaigns) through the ATM network, improve branding and customer service through personalized messages, and generate revenue through localized advertising and promotions with area businesses.
