Registration
Process
Some courses are part of a certification. If you are required to take training, check to see if there is
a certification with that name first. It adds a step to the process.
Certifications can have options (paths) for completing the requirements. For example, the HRPP/IRB
training requirement can be met in 3 ways (standard course, documenting another institutions
training, or a refresher to previous IRB training). Choose the path that is right for you. You can
always change it later. Tips
Register button – typically the easiest way is to hit Register > Complete Registration. Which Path? – Choose based on your situation, but you can always change your path later. First assignment’s window will launch – may need to adjust window size.
Common
Registration
Problems
The most common problem during registration is the system will not allow double registrations for
the same course or certification. Try these solutions or call the Helpdesk weekdays at 517‐884‐
4600
“Already registered’ – Login and check In‐Progress portal for existing registration. “...no items to register for...” – Check for existing registration of that course in the In‐
Progress Training and/or Completed Courses .
“REQUIRED PRE‐REQUISITES” – Check the course requirements; or seek another path.
