Cloudline & The NEC Cloud Marketplace

Project

.

Gordano are working with NEC, evolving a SaaS marketplace framework targeted at Telco operators. The NEC Cloud Marketplace is a scalable aggregation platform consisting of a range of business oriented services to be sold to communication service providers (CSPs) and telecommunication operators.

In turn, the operators receive revenue by offering these solutions to their customers easily, quickly and effectively from a single, integrated location.

Cloudline & The NEC SaaS Marketplace

Project

GMS has worked with NEC to integrate Cloudline into the NEC SaaS/cloud solutions

aggregation marketplace environment. The proposed customer audience in this

context is the (smaller) SMB space. This engagement facilitates:

Reduced operator customer churn by offering valuable additional functionality to an existing

customer audience

Increased customer retention via data/usage lock in

Mitigated operator expenditure for rollout by leveraging existing capabilities from third-party

Enhanced groupware and mobility options – continued improvements in the ActiveSync protocol will mean increased performance

of groupware functionality for Outlook.

Webmail enhancement (responsive technologies) – Webspace (the next iteration of the Cloudline webmail client) is a critical

component in providing cloud based services. Webspace will become increasingly UCC-centric, enabling a single data view of

multiple, integrated, third-party cloud services. Webspace combines contemporary UX and design and extensibility options, providing an optimal experience on tablets, PCs and smartphones.

Ongoing integration of cloud accessed services, e.g.: personal cloud (storage) – using the marketplace environment as a model,

Webspace will integrate carefully selected services that complement email. Services such as cloud storage, video conferencing, cloud backup, and SMB social media platforms all represent relevant email augmentation options.

Multiple marketplace implementations, using proprietary and open standards platforms.

eInspector Concept

(28)

Incident reporting through the mobile app

The mobile app user logs to the

app and reports an incident they

see.

(29)

Incident reporting through the mobile app

Application Home Screen

(30)

Incident reporting through the mobile app

User chooses to submit an incident.

The user describes the incident and can

include an audio description.

The user associates ‘evidence’ of the

incident, comprised of photos and a video.

The app captures and sends along the

mobile GPS location.

The incident is uploaded to the server

(31)

Work Flow to Track Issues

Once uploaded to the server, the incident goes through a tracking work flow.

(32)

Work Flow to Track Issues - Verification

An assigner

verifies the

incident as a first

step.

B2B - eInspector

(33)

Work Flow to Track Issues - Verification

The assigner would

be able to see the

incident location on a

map based on the

GPS info captured

from the initiator’s

device.

(34)

Work Flow to Track Issues - Assignment

The assigner assigns the incident to a handler.

B2B - eInspector

(35)

Work Flow to Track Issues - Handling

1

The handler receives a notification

on their mobile device that an

issue was assigned to them.

(36)

Work Flow to Track Issues - Handling

(37)

Work Flow to Track Issues - Resolution

After inspecting/handling the

issue, the handler resolves the

issue and can upload resolution

photo evidence, as well as an

audio description.
