Sus estudios terminan con el cor- tometraje “Ce qui échappe”, que participa en muchos festivales incluidos en la FIAPF y que califican para los Oscar.

After Mathematics Studies, Ely Chevillot learns Film Directing at IAD (Institut des Arts de Diffusion), the Belgian film school. Her studies ended up with the short film ‘Ce qui échappe’, which participated in official selections in many festivals including FIAPF and Academy Award Qualifying festivals.

A young woman becomes an Au pair for a man who has made himself a family from cardboard. The woman ignores the man’s romantic approaches while she gets attached to the cardboard characters. The woman and the man are unable to see each other as human beings. They only perceive the other as material in their private fantasies.
