COLUMBUS NEIGHBORHOODS
CASE STUDY: WOSU PUBLIC MEDIA
WOSU Public Media came to Chepri to create a new website for their Emmy® award winning documentary series, Columbus Neighborhoods. This new website supports the WOSU Public Media mission to educate, inform, entertain, and inspire, through embedded video programming, interactive neighborhood maps, neighborhood timelines, lessons plans, and public story submissions, for an ever growing list of Columbus neighborhoods.
ColumbusNeighborhoods.org has a fresh new look that works as well on mobile devices as it does on the desktop.
Chepri also developed a mobile app based off our CMS Mobility framework. This allowed Columbus neighborhoods to have a functional mobile app that would populate from their existing website content.
By working closely with WOSU Public Media, we were able to pursue an aggressive timeline to develop all the features they needed to support their mission.
We love this site and continue to visit to learn more about our own neighborhoods.

Our partnership begins when the Girl Scouts asked Chepri to build the Android version of their Cookie Finder app for the 2012 cookie season. They were so pleased with the results, they came back to Chepri the following year for both Android and iOS.

Following the successful 2012 cookie season, the Girl Scouts returned and asked us to make both versions of their popular Cookie Finder app. This version would increase their already legendarily high cookie sales by an impressive 11%.
