Setconfig. *$is will allow you to access any options t$at t$e unit must be in normal mode to ma'e c$anges.

*$is feature is only available in service mode. ou can see all t$e functions of your actual /% and c$ange values in any of t$e fields. *$e $rite /ption is only available on t$e full version, in t$e "asic version you can read t$ese values

$owever you cannot c$ange t$em.

From t$is section in Full or "asic mode you can reset your pin code for t$e unit. ou would ust type in a A digit number and press set and t$is will recode t$e pin code for t$e unit. *$is is especially $elpful if your radio came wit$ no pin card and your battery was c$anged, or if you boug$t a unit second $and and received t$e incorrect code wit$ your unit.

*$is is a feature t$at was developed for RS units w$ic$ allows you to create your  own custom boot screens. *$is is an especially nice feature t$at is available

now$ere else and lets you completely customie your boot screen wit$ any image of your c$oice. ou simply select a .B1< image t$at is E##+AE# and select

create .iso. *$is will create an .iso file t$at you will burn onto a cd, insert into your RS and it will prompt you to accept new files. ou select yes, and it will rewrite your boot screen. *$e w$ole process ta'es around 2 minutes and of course can be c$anged bac' before returning or selling your unit, Setconfig comes wit$ all 7 variations of 3% boot screen for )B)C)&))F)= units. ou can view a

%it$ t$is option you can edit F% scripts before you load t$em onto your RS (nit. *$ere are certain options t$at you can comment out w$ic$ will save close to 2#;7# minutes in F% updating time.
