JAAS Systems

JAAS Systems utilized Acumatica to convert their on-premise manufacturing solution to the Cloud. Learn how JAAS saved $400,000 and 2 years of development time using Acumatica.

Business Challenge

JAAS Systems creates advanced manufacturing software (JAMS) that is used by mid-sized manufacturing companies to stream-line production and accounting processes. JAMS was originally developed using a client-server architec-ture. While this is effective for some deployments, JAAS Systems realized that a web-based solution would be easier to deploy, keep client costs down, and provide more flexible integration with modern Cloud accounting systems.

Converting to the Cloud

By moving to the Cloud, JAAS will gain access to 25% of the $13 billion ERP market that is considering the Cloud. Their concerns were (1) moving years of manufacturing expertise to a modern web-based environment and (2) the need to build accounting and inventory functions in a cloud environment.
