BridgeHead’s Healthcare Data Management (HDM) is a modular, customizable solution that can be
tailored to meet the specific needs of your hospital. It is made up of three parts:
1) The HDM Platform
BridgeHead’s Healthcare Data Management Platform is common to all HDM solutions, large and small, and provides the data and storage management functions.
The HDM Platform is vendor agnostic, can interface with all media types and scales to your hospital’s requirements in terms of capacity and usage. As your environment evolves over time, the Platform is in place to receive any new data that you may wish to Store, Protect and Share.
2) BridgeHead’s Data Agents
BridgeHead’s Data Agents interface between a hospital’s clinical and administrative applications and the HDM Platform (which in turn manages the relationship with your storage infrastructure).
Our extensive range of agents allows you to tailor your HDM solution specifically for your hospital. There are two
types of agents: a) agents that move data utilizing backup techniques; b) agents that move data utilizing archiving techniques. The specific problem your hospital is trying to solve dictates which agents would be used in your HDM solution.
One of the key attractions of this model is that as your hospital’s data management requirements evolve (and as you already have the HDM Platform), all you need to do is deploy a new agent or redirect an existing one. In this way, your HDM solution scales to meet your future needs as they emerge.
3) BridgeHead Services
BridgeHead Services is the part that glues all of the pieces together and completes the solution.
