The goals of Fast VOS by Pixel-Wise FeatureComparison (PiWiVOS) are to be simple and fast enough to be used in Real-Time applications. Furthermore, in the same aim to be used in real-world environments, our method is directly addressed to the multi-object VOS problem. One can easily see that almost all the existing VOS models, presented in Section 3.3, start solving the foreground-background segmentation problem, to then move to the multi-object task by merging their results. Even those methods that are prepared and trained for multi-object segmentation directly, need a forward pass for each of them or an RNN to predict them one by one. All the previously presented approaches are object-wise methods.
Columnstore index immediately. Those rows are marked with a delete label or flag, which signifies that the rows are deleted. Over time, when many rows have been deleted, they still occupy space in the Columnstore. One way to remove those deleted rows is to rebuild the indexes after a certain period. DB2 provides an automated index maintenance that removes the deleted rows automatically from the index. This feature is not currently available with SQL Server 2014, but it is available in the upcoming version of SQL Server.
The Voicemail System can be programmed to grant the Multi-Extension Mailbox feature, which allows multiple telephones to access to the same mailbox from different PBX extensions. For example, the CEO of the company may have two phones: extension 201 on his/her executive desk and 211 on his/her conference table. The CEO can access one mailbox, mailbox 201 from either extension with Voicemail System. In addition, when a message is received in mailbox 201, a voicemail message waiting indication is provided to extensions 201 and 211. The Auto Record feature is also available from both extensions.
Recent literature [32, 34, 35, 37, 38] contains numerous references to the use of hybrid feature selection algorithms. Based on a filter ranking, these algorithms perform an incremental wrapper selection over feature ranking . In order to reduce computational time, improve generalization accuracy, and enhance intelligence of the learned models , researchers are looking at working on the big feature space by reducing the searchspace in the most efficient way . There are algorithms based on Incremental Attribute Learning (IAL) that incrementally imports features into systems. It is necessary to know which feature should be introduced in an earlier step . On similar lines, incremental learning of association rules has also been attempted. During anomaly detection in backbone networks , research shows that the classification cost, in terms of items that need to be classified, can be reduced by several orders of magnitude by using association rules incrementally. Researchers have also worked on methods of fusing the knowledge during incremental learning via clustering in a distributed environment. . Here, the original dataset is divided into several batches by a random selection of samples and presumed that each batch of data is available at a different location. Knowledge of each batch of data is extracted incrementally to obtain the batch-knowledge of the respective batches.
- Scenario 1b (5 features selected by HVS) gives the best performance for a reduced feature set, according to all criteria (accuracy, FPR, FNR, and testing execution time), except for the learning time, which is not a critical criterion, since the learning process is made off-line once for all. Compared to scenario 1a (complete feature set), the reduction of the number of features by 72% (from 18 to 5) yields a decrease in accuracy by only 0.2% (from 0.9847 to 0.9828). This good performance may be explained by the coherence of the two phases (feature selec- tion and classification both based on neural networks). The figures of scenario 1c show that an acceptable per- formance is kept even with only input features. Scenario 2c slightly outperforms it, however, in accuracy, FPR and execution time.
To organize this paper we describe the related back- ground in Section 2, the grounded theory of feature mod- eling in SPLE, FODA, CBFM, OVM and recent state of CVL. The related work of this research is discussed in Section 3. The comparison and mapping analysis are dis- cussed in Section 4, and also relation of FODA, CBFM and OVM with CVL. Study case of this comparison and mapping using R3ST software prototype are explained in Section 5. And finally we conclude and discuss the fea- ture work in Section 6.
This paper focuses on the recognition of the handwriting of the Batak Toba script with various background noise on writing and with various feature extraction. Giving various kinds of noise on the background of writing aims to imitate the existing writing on ancient manuscripts of the Batak Toba. Handwriting recognition of the Batak Toba script is done with various feature extractions to see the exact feature extractions represent the Batak Toba script.
As a second step, the following fuzzy clustering algorithms were applied to this subset: Fuzzy C-Means (FCM), Possibilistic C-Means (PCM), Fuzzy Pos- sibilistic C-Means (FPCM), Robust Fuzzy Possibilistic C-Means (RFCM) and Fuzzy C-Means with Gustafson-Kessel algorithm (FCM-GK). The algorithms were selected due to their theoretical advantages as well as to asses the draw- backs when applied under field conditions. For this comparison 8 clusters was used as reference.
IPv6 is necessary for protocol design, simulating, improving network performance and building application. In this paper we describe the basic knowledge about the IPv6. Then, we analyze the features and the importance of IPv6. NAT is also described in this paper. IPv6 address space is so large that it's not possible to list every address for probing. This method lays a stable foundation for the succeeding probing program to improve efficiency, completeness and avoid redundancy. Tunnelling is the one of the best feature of IPv6. We propose the method of finding the tunnels based on IPv6 path MTU (maximum transfer unit) discovery mechanism to improve the veracity of the result.
When the AAR/ARS Partitioning feature is used in a hotel/motel or a hospital environment, different facilities access is provided through ARS for guest/patient voice terminals and administrative staff member voice terminals. For example, within a hotel or motel, the guests and staff voice terminals might be partitioned into two user groups. When a guest places an inter-state call, the guest user group’s ARS tables may specify that the call be routed using AT&T QUOTE Service, a telephone billing information system that is used to bill back or allocate long-distance charges. A similar call placed by a staff member might be routed over a Direct Distance Dialing (DDD) trunk.
The intension of feature selection is to decide a subset of features for enhancing the prediction accuracy or minimizing the size of the structure without drastically reducing prediction accuracy of the classifier built using only the selected features . The filter approach operates independently of any learning algorithm. These methods rank the features by some criteria and omit all features that do not achieve a sufficient score. Due to its computational efficiency, the filter methods are very popular to high-dimension data . Some popular filter methods are F-score criterion , mutual information , information gain and correlation . The wrapper approach involves with the predetermined learning model, selects features on measuring the learning performance of the particular learning model [15-16]. Although wrappers may produce better results, they are expensive to run and can break down with very large numbers of features. This is due to the use of learning algorithms in the evaluation of feature subsets every time . Filter and wrapper are two complementary approaches, then the hybrid approach attempts to take advantage of the filter and wrapper approaches by exploiting their complementary strengths [18-20].
