Abstract: The settlement and geometry deformation monitoring is an essential issues for the safe transportation of high speed railway. Due to the Terrestrial Laser Scanning(TLS) can acquire high precise and density of point cloud of the survey scene based on the measurement of the time-of-flight of an infrared pulse emitted, TLS is considered as one of most promising surveying techniques for railway track geometry deformation monitoring. The paper proposes an approach that using TLS to detect subsidence and irregularities of track by fitting boundary of cross section of track. And an outdoor experiment was performed to ascertain the feasibility and accuracy of this method, deformation parameters based on TLS has been compared with field measurement of local railway administer, comparing result shows subsidence difference between TLS and precise leveling is 2-3mm, difference of geometry parameters of tracks is 1-2mm. furthermore, the cause of error of TLS has been discussed.

High-speed railway trains are po- wered by electricity, which can take advantage of various forms of energy re- sources and do not consume liquid fuels such as oil, and thus do not produce fuel waste gas to pollute the atmosphere [5] [6].

Research on the Impact of Infrastructure Construction on Tourism Industry: Evidence from the “Wuhan Guangzhou High Speed Rail”

The “Wuhan-Guangzhou High-Speed Rail” opened on December 26, 2009, which could be regarded as a quasi-natural experiment that improved the quality of transportation infrastructure. With the cities having the stops of “Wuhan-Guangzhou High-Speed Rail” as the treatment group, other cities in the same provinces but without any high speed railway stops as the control group, this paper constructs the panel data from 2005 to 2013 and uses Difference in Differences method to inves- tigate the impact of the opening of “Wuhan-Guangzhou High-Speed Rail” on the tourism economy. We find that tourism revenue in cities from treatment group increased by 13.734 billion to 22.482 billion yuan, and the total number of domestic tourist arrivals increased by 12.9814 million to 16.2512 million people. The conclusion proves that the construction of transportation infrastruc- ture promotes the tourism industry, making up for the insufficient empirical research on the de- velopment of tourism.

With a large number of Agents in high-speed train, this paper presents how the simulation engine is designed to support the network topology of distributed simulation, which separates the underlying communication of the simulation from the upper-layer application. This will increase the reusability and expandability of the model while realize the Agent. A Global Service Agent, a Local Service Agent and an Interaction Agent are set in each computing node, which are used to monitor the Agent status on the node and to control Agent traffic route. This method can significantly reduce the data traffic between Agents to avoid network congestion as shown in Figure 8. Considering that the freight capacity can better measure the economic develop- ment level compared with the passenger capacity, the total freight capacity of highway, shipping, water transport and railway is taken as the variable repre- senting trans . This paper aims to explore the impact of the development of high-speed railways. However, the reduction of travel time in 2013 compared with that in 2000 is caused by the introduction of high-speed railways and the speed-up of ordinary railways. Therefore, it is necessary to add the control vari- able that represents ordinary railways. This paper selects the railway freight vo- lume as the proxy variable of the development of ordinary railways. Because high-speed railways in China are basically passenger dedicated lines, and the special freight high-speed trains for freight transport have been developed. In other words, the high-speed railway has not yet achieved freight transport so far, and the freight transport still depends on ordinary railways. For other transpor- tation modes, this control variable includes not only the freight capacity of rail- ways, but also the freight capacity of highways, waterways and airways, thus controlling the impact brought by the development of ordinary railways, and the impacts brought by the development of highways, airways and waterways.
